Dentures & Partials

Excellence in Dental Care for Woodland Families

Dentures & Partials

Partials and dentures are common restorations used for patients who have lost one or more teeth to periodontal disease, severe decay, trauma, or extractions. The Leah Zils, DDS team in The Woodlands, Texas, works routinely with patients who need to replace missing permanent adult teeth and are interested in removable and affordable options. Both complete dentures and partial dentures are available at our office, and learning about each is the best way to decide the solution for one’s unique and personal needs.

When Should I Consider Partial Dentures?

If you are missing one or several teeth but the remaining teeth are healthy and present, we may design a partial denture for you. We use the Valplast brand at our office, which is a flexible partial — making your appliance more comfortable than rigid partials and easier to use for eating. This ensures you wear the dentures as needed and maintain the full functionality of your smile after tooth loss or extraction.

What Are Full Or “Complete” Dentures?

Dentures replace an entire arch of teeth. If you’re missing all your teeth on the top, bottom, or both arches, our team will work with you to create dentures that match your natural teeth. The dentures are premium heat-cured prosthetic devices that are completely customized and personalized. They use high-quality dental materials to simulate the look of natural gum tissue and teeth as closely as possible. They will last a long time when patients visit regularly for follow-up visits to fine-tune the fit and function. Wear your dentures all day long, then brush and soak them overnight.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. All the staff were wonderful! Of course I was scared since it was my first visit but they made me feel comfortable and were able to explain everything in words I could understand. They were very gentle and I have no problem returning for my next visit. Highly recommend! Easy parking too!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The post is for Dr. Cagle, not Zils. I no longer use this practice.

Meticulous is the best adjective to describe Dr. Cagle. Shirley enjoys her craft, and you will leave the office with a new appreciation for that craft.

The entire staff is friendly, caring, and experienced. Debbie greets you with a warm smile when you enter the building.

Many thanks to the entire team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently visited Dr. Leah Zils for a routine cleaning and some repair work, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The cleaning was incredibly thorough, yet gentle—my teeth felt noticeably cleaner without any discomfort. Dr. Zils also took care of a couple of problem areas I had been putting off, and the repairs were smooth, efficient, and virtually painless. She explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and was genuinely attentive to my concerns. The office staff was welcoming, and the whole environment felt professional and calming. It’s rare to actually feel relaxed at the dentist, but Dr. Zils makes it possible. Highly recommend her for both preventative and restorative care.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am so impressed with Dr. Zil’s and her staff. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist, hygienist and assistant was professional, friendly, and genuinely personable. They run on time, but don’t make you feel rushed. They took their time to explain everything well and the assistant worked alongside the dentist like a perfectly synced team. The whole experience was efficient, yet relaxed, and I left feeling really well taken care of. Highly recommend!
